New Castle County Vocational Technical School District Seeks Substitute Teachers to Join Their Team
Are you passionate about education and looking for a rewarding opportunity? The New Castle County Vocational Technical School District is actively seeking substitute teachers to provide instruction to students in the absence of regular teachers.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing instruction following the teacher’s lesson plan
- Interacting with a diverse student population
- Demonstrating effective communication and time management skills
Working hours: 7:30 am – 3:00 pm
Substitute teachers are expected to adhere to provided guidelines and follow all policies, rules, and procedures of the school district.
Per diem pay scale:
- Class A Substitute: $189.00 – Bachelor’s Degree & Delaware Teacher Certification
- Class B Substitute: $163.00 – Bachelor’s Degree
- Class C Substitute: $134.00 – High School Diploma
- Class C Substitute: $163.00 – Vocational T & I Eligible
A background check and TB test are required for all applicants.
