BAKING AND PASTRY ARTS
Prepares students for careers in the restaurant and hospitality industry, focusing on baking and pastry skills. The program covers culinary arts, regional and international baking techniques, and advanced pastry methods, while also developing leadership and teamwork skills.

COSMETOLOGY
Prepares students for careers in beautifying hair, skin, and nails, covering skills such as hair cutting, coloring, facials, and manicures. Students gain hands-on experience in a salon setting, preparing for the Delaware Cosmetology license and the State Board Licensing Examination.

CULINARY ARTS
Prepares students for careers in food preparation, covering areas such as cooking, baking, pastry making, and dining room operations. Students gain hands-on experience in a professional kitchen and have opportunities to earn ServSafe Sanitation and ProStart certifications, as well as college credit through Tech Prep Agreements.

FIRE SCIENCE AND RESCUE
Prepares students for careers in emergency response services, including firefighting and EMT roles. The program covers emergency protocols, incident management, and risk assessment, equipping graduates with the skills and certifications needed for success in the field.

LEGAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Prepares students for careers as legal assistants by teaching core administrative and clerical duties, including office management, legal correspondence, and document preparation. Students gain skills in legal research and office automation, providing a strong foundation for various specialized legal administrative roles.

LEGAL SUPPORT SERVICES
Prepares students for careers in legal services, law enforcement, public safety, and crime scene investigation. The program includes theoretical study, practical applications, and opportunities for job shadowing, internships, and certifications to enhance employment prospects in the legal industry.

PRODUCTION & IMAGING TECHNOLOGY
Provides special education students with hands-on training in employability skills and customer service through technology. Students work in a school-based production center using equipment for embroidery, engraving, framing, and more. The program also manages the Delcastle school store and greenhouse.

THE TEACHER ACADEMY FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION
Prepares students for careers in early childhood education and related fields, such as special education and pediatric nursing. The program covers child development, safety, nutrition, and program management, with hands-on experience in a preschool lab. Students can earn certifications and college credit through dual enrollment.

THE TEACHER ACADEMY FOR K-12
Prepares students for careers in education by developing a realistic understanding of teaching and its impact. The program covers classroom and field experiences, equipping students with the skills needed for careers such as elementary or secondary teacher, paraprofessional, and special education teacher.
